This is beautiful Bowen Bullet Knife made in Atlanta, Georgia. This knife model is R-1306 is a lockback and the handles are Jigged Delrin. The blade has been engraved by “Dillingham” for America’s Bicentennial from 1776-1976. This knife is about 4 1/2 inches long when closed and about 8 inches long when opened. The bolsters are nickel silver with brass liners. The bolsters are engraved by Bruce Shaw who engraved the head on an eagle with stars all around. On the front side, on the tang, it says Bowen USA and on the reverse side on the tang it says, R-1306. There are no cracks at any of the pins on both sides of the handles or the thong hole. The blade sits deep and well centered when closed, there is no wiggle. Comes complete with the original Bowen Box and wrap. The reflections on the blades and bolsters are from my camera, they are not on the knife. Due to the grading system of some recent buyers, I am no longer listing knives as "Mint". This knife comes pretty close though, never used, carried or sharpened.
